My son takes brainchild vitamins & minerals (SS2 version - for autistics). I give him 1/3 dosage for now, and juiceplus veggie/fruit chewables (full dosage).
Here's where to find a great article about nutritional supplements for AS:
http://www.eas.asu.edu/~autism/Vitamins_Minerals_Final.doc
Here's where to find info on the supplements Caleb receives:
http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com
http://www.juiceplus.com
When we are consistant in giving him these, his bowel accidents decrease and his attention/mental-acuteness increases. Plus I don't have to worry so much about his food choices.
Hope this helps. Pls feel free to send me a private message if you want more detailed info.

The Juice Plus - is it generally accepted? Does it have a positive effect, particularly on people within the autism spectrum? The first time I heard of it was a couple of years ago when my wife attended one of those "home parties". I usually as a rule stay well clear of anything remotely linked to MLM (multi level marketing) and network sales so I remember back then I said "no way, it's another one of those MLM hoaxes." Now I've got it recommended by a doctor, but I've also seen on the internet MD's claiming it's just a scam. Hard to know what to think, coz it's pretty expensive...
