Karen,
I reposted all both of your posts under Idea Exchange. Seldom anyone goes beyond that category, and that is where we sit and talk about our kids. That is why you haven't gotten very much feedback at this time.
If you look under Idea Exchange for the title I put something to the effect "Worried about Meds." I hope I am not overstepping my bounds by doing this, but I knew you message would never really get answered if you stayed under this topic. I really hope someone is able to answer your questions.
The only one of these three that I know anything about it Zoloft. We used it to control my daughter's OCD (obsessive Compulsive Disorder). For what it was supposed to do it worked really well, but my daughter is hypersensitive to it. She was on it for two weeks before she went manic. She threw things, screamed, cried, just awful. I had taken this same medication for myself before and had had the same reaction, so I knew it was those pills that were making her behave this way. I have since been told that the two week mark is crucial. If you are going to have a reaction then about that time is when you will do this. IF your son is depressed then this could also be the reason he is being given this.
Someone here will know what the rest of the meds are and what they are used for.
All The Best,
Carol
