i dont know if it is too much of an AS success thing, but it could help me. and the title sounds bad because of repeating a grade. but, i go to a vocational highschool. near the end of last year i switched out of the electronics shop and into the metal fabrication shop. in order for me to graduate with metal fab schop credits, i had to stay back a year to aquire the required hours in the new shop i got into to graduate. so i stayed back or better put, am repeating 11th grade. we have 1 week of shop and 1 week of academics(it rotates through the year). and after a real lot of disscussion with the school(i think a lot of trouble for them) we came to a decision. it is a plan they extremely rarely use. i think i am like the 17th person to ever use it in the school. my metal fab teacher has been working there for 18yrs and my case is the first he has ever see,. so i guess it is kinda rare. anyways, let me get to the point. the thing is i passed all of my academic classes last year (11th grade), so this year i have already gotten all the academics from the previous year(instead of where staying back you need to aquire those credits). so instead of doing nothing on academic week, and wasting time; the school has put me into 10th grade shop and 11th grade shop. now i have no academics for the exception of 10th grade shop related and 11th grade shop related(i am so glad i passed algebra 2 last year, i passed with 1 point. i think the teacher scaled me up to pass me, really nice guy

). so now that i have shop both weeks, i have more of a chance to 'try' to talk to the other kids in shop. it might only happen a few times a week and only last for a few minutes(if that). but atleast i am trying, and attempting to progress. i guess i will have to wait and see what happenes, only time will tell.
