Here are some of the sites I have found usefull in my short 4 month search...

Of course I have to list the O.A.S.I.S. web site first OASIS Web Page

and here are a few others I found useful.

Ooops...Wrong Planet Syndrome Webpage

Asperger Syndrome HomePage

Autism Resources Page

The center for Autism Home Page

Those are just a few that I have found helpful.

I have a 16 year old AS son and have been pursuing knowledge about AS since 1994. Our biggest challenges seem to come with the school district and their relative ignorance of this disability.

I finally realized that parents are the best advocates for their children and decided to write an user-friendly guide about AS.

Several parents have used it in their IEP meetings with the schools and the St. Louis Special School District has recently started to use it in training their staff.

You can find a online copy of the book, "Unlocking the Puzzle: A Quick-Start Guide to the World of Asperger's Syndrome." at http://www.aspergertips.com.

I hope this will help other parents in their struggles to educate the school system.
