Hi everyone my name is Michele and the mother of a 9 year old boy with Aspergers, his father while trying to get some mental health help from his insurance directed us to this Dr. who does Neurofeedback. She hooked him up to this computer and he played this game with his mind while his brain patterns were being monitered. The website of information she gave us is http://www.eegspectrum.com by using this game as therapy he is teaching his brain to use the correct brain waves when concentrating on an activity. Eventually his brain will learn and do it on its own. I talked to a women in the waiting room when I was leaving and she told me her 2 1/2 year old who was diagnosed with mild aut. and ADHD could not say a complete sentence in December and with 2 appt. a week today he can tell you his name talk pretty normal I guess, anyway she said it really calmed him down before they couldn't even go out to dinner without him being really hyper and flapping and making bird noises and now all that behavior has ended. This is my first post and I was wondering has anyone heard or tried this?
