I have a 16yo son who has been dx withADHD since 5yo, ODD since 10yo. After being diagnosed at 14yo with type 1 diabetes it has ben a downward spiral. He started using alcohol and drugs alittle over 1 year ago. He was difficult to get to school, he just stopped functioning. This summer we tried a 4 week wilderness program and after 2 weeks we were told he needed more intensive long term therapy. At this Residential facility they realized he wasn't getting the program because it relied on in your face and emotion/feeling based group therapy, and they believe him to have aspereger's. We brought him home but he will need placement. Anyone out there have any inpatient/resisential facilities that they could recommend?
