What would you class as being some of the best days of your life?
I've had lots in general, one was my first date with an ex, it was in scotland in a restaurant by a window over looking a loac at sunset, the whole setting was just kind of perfect.
Another was sitting drinking tea in an old castle tea room with my current Girlfriend.
The day I recieved a large course of volumes of books on magic.

I'm not too sure I can actually identify any particular day as being great. I've had good days, but always in the back of my mind, and maybe not even that far back, have been negative thoughts, or negative reactions to the good things happening.
Watching a beautiful sunset is wonderful but tempered by the thought of driving home in the dark, with oncoming headlights. Camping can be terrific, but the thoughts of packing it all up, cleaning the gear, etc. are not far away. A delicious chocolate bar brings up the thoughts of being overweight, and food sensitivities.

I'm old ... I've had a lot of good days.
My children have been a constant source of joy, and pain ... as have been my cats.
The day my husband and I met was pretty awesome. We had our first date in Monterrey, CA ... lunch was very romantic, overlooking the Pacific Ocean watching the otters play.
Every day I'm able to stay home to raise our wild pony is a great day. Finances being what they are, if I can't find work from home SOON I'll be forced back into working outside of home ... which could result in daycare for Erich.

I hope this is not taken the wrong way but often in the past when things were perfect i have often thought now" if I could die now I would leve life happy".
I like most aspies was a very nervoud child, I can remember being 10 and going into a new year in school with a different teacher and class set up, i can recall standing in my grandmother bathroom and looking up to the roof and saying, "God is there any chance you would take me now please" I was so afraid of change. I think my whole life has been a fight against change and even now I still fight it. The more upset the more and more temporarly withdrawn I become, my eating stops and I become mute and motionless.
One thing that makes me happy about my future is that five years ago I went to a woman I cansoder one of Irelands best psychics, she told me alot of things that were very specfic and have all come through even though most of them looked so unlikely, in my mind that gives me a bit of stabality, and I know there alot of more happy days to come.

The best day in my life, hands down, is a graduating with my B.A.
and then learning I had got accepted into graduate school
I think another close third would be learning I had HFA and just wasn't doomed to be some manic who would have to live the end of my days in a mental ward...
A good day, Serenity

I'm not sure I've had a best day, but some stand out more than others. When I was young, I once won the annual local sailboat race by accident. I misunderstood the directions and was doing the course entirely against traditional strategy (some people even tried to call me back to the pack). These were small wooden boats all made to same specifications, so once you fell behind it was nearly impossible to catch up. But then, unexpectedly, the wind and currents shifted. And because I was the only one doing things differently, I was the only one in position to take advantage of it, and I surged to the front of the field one route marker before the end as if by magic. I was very proud of that. I mean, I can't claim to have known that the weather was going to change, and I didn't really deserve to win because I was very inexperienced at sailing, but the value in which I held being different from everyone else skyrocketed after that. That really redeemed everything for me, and probably played a large role in how I approached my life thereafter.

Julie, I'm only visiting this year, but i have to admit I am terrified, though I won't be too bad for the visit itself as i know i'm returning, when I move to work for a few months next year I have no idea how I'm going to cope, at least Jean will be there for me.
I'm hopeing I can adapt, living with out the things in my room is going to be hard, I literally study my interest texts every single day.
