What is your next ambition or aim, for anything from improveing your life as an aspi or NT for those related here.

In my own case I plan to start performing my mentalism on a bigger scale at the end of January next year as I feel my skills and plans in this area are almost refined enough.

Receiently I have just relised that my card handling skills have become very good and practical, I hadn't noticed until I found myself able to meet any challenge put to me by friends. I can cut the all the aces out of the a deck , have others choose the cards I want them to and deal myself an excellent hand with out other people noticeing, of course my nature prohibets cheating but I enjoy demonjstrateing how some one else might cheat them and why it is best to stay away from gambeling. I think an ambition in this area would be to improve and give card table demonstrations. I used to hate cards.
I think it is my aspi drive and personal interest related ambition that drives me.

What ambitions has every one elese got?

It means in my case I am rarely unhappy for long periods as I have too much to read learn and practice.

Kirk.

I'm currently attempting to write a novel, and am sending short stories around to magazines. (I haven't yet had much luck with getting a more conventional job.) Oddly, my main character, who I developed before knowing about my AS, appears to have been a bit of an Aspie all along ... as do several other characters in my stories.

I also at some point hope to start dating.

Writing writing writing. That's my unifocal interest and my compulsion. And possibly getting a tenure-track job in biology, but I have considerably less control over that.

Saving up several thousand dollars and moving out. The several thousand dollars will be a crisis fund to cover emergencies such as unexpected repairs, etc.

My ultimate ambition is to become rich. Not filthy rich, but financially well off. I plan on acheaving this eventually through savings and (hopefully) wise investments in stocks.

Good thread Kirk - My ambitions are to do more study on Palliative care - work in Palliative care - travel - and live in a house with a rural view.

Good luck with your novel MaggiGabe - have you had some stories published yet?

I would like to get a full time job at the library and write the story of my cat, Samantha.

I would like to attend an Olympic Games one day and write about it.

I'd love to get married and have a large family-if that doesn't happen, to feel like I'm connected and belong in a large group of people.
I'd also love to have my own business someday and not have to worry about a job to support myself.
Finally, I'd love to travel to Israel!
Margaret-good luck on your tenure!
