Here's a list of Webcomics that I like a lot. Note they are all storyline-based comics rather than one-shot-gag comics (they also aren't copy-paste comics). Webcomics are one of the few things that brings joy to my life.
Note: Webcomics should generally be read from the first strip forward since they have detailed storylines and character development. Bewarned; it may take 10+ hours to read through the archives of a comic that's been going for 5+ years and they are
highly addictive
.
Note2:WARNING: The warnings aren't to be taken seriously.
Basically in order of how much I like them:
Schlock Mercenary

WARNING: Contains puns and military humor.
The sci-fi is pretty good and some strips have detailed footnotes which can be as fun to read as the strip. One of the most impressive things is the stalwart reliability of the artist, the comic is updated every day without fail!
Sluggy Freelance
WARNING: Contains psychotic bunny.
One of the oldest and most famous web comics on the web. It's been going since 1997 and I've been reading it daily since 1999. Updates every day, usually.
College Roomies from Hell
WARNING: Contains nonsense.
This comic boasts one of the most fanatical fan bases. The starting art is quite bad. The art gets much better and the comic more serious, there are some downright dark storylines, this is part of the appeal of CRFH.
Updates weekdays, kinda.
(Female artist, too).
Wandering Ones.
WARNING: You might learn something.
This comic is non-funneh and tells a story. The setting is a post-apocalyptic earth after 98% of humanity got wiped out by a bioengineered virus. Has a strong survivalist / living close to nature slant. The art is excellent.
Updates once a week.
Freefall

WARNING: Fan forum contains furries.
This comic is almost legendary for it's time pace, approximately 1 day character time passes in one year of comics. It's funny, cute, philosophical and has some pretty good sci-fi.
Updates 3 times a week.
Bruno The Bandit

WARNING: Contains barely vieled political rhetoric and forced puns.
I'm not sure if this comic is funny because it's funny or because it isn't funny. It is meant to be funny anyway. Based in a bizarre medieval/modern hybrid world.
Updates 3 days a week.
There are some other comics I love that aren't "family friendly" heck they aren't "sane person friendly" I'll post links later
