How darkly comical (or is it lightly sick?). Not so long ago I read about these two women that came into their friend's house and found her squatting on the kitchen floor, seemingly ignoring them, and under the impression that she didn't want them there they left. It was only after two or three days had passed that they realised she had been dead all along (and remained in that condition, to the best of my knowledge). Both that and the above rather remind me of that Fawlty Towers episode "The Kippers and the Corpse", where a man dies in his bed, but Basil doesn't notice until it is pointed out, and I think that was also based on real-life incidents.

Chay - Fawlty Towers - one of my all time favorites. I just bought the complete show on DVD for my husband for Christmas. We love that show, and we are not even from Barcelona! Linda

i have downloaded the fawlty towers series from emule (a limewire like variant with many more things available)
do they really only have 12 episodes?
i was looking for a scene where basil is throwing a tantrum in the car park, and when guests drive in he pretends he is flattening out the tar with his feet.
i did not see that scene in the whole 12 i downloaded.

XB-70, you are referring to an incident that takes place in the episode known as "The Anniversary". Keep looking and you'll find it.

Maybe the reason no one went near him is because he always smelled bad anyway? Naaawwwww. Certainly someone would notice the difference between body odor and the smell of a decaying body. Have you ever smelled a dead mouse?

Not that I'd recommend it to everyone, but I would recommend it to this poor fellow's co-workers! LOL! Seriously this article looks like it was cut out of the National Enquirer. Most likely not even true. ;\)
